Xbox App Shifts: Microsoft Rewards Feature Disappears
The widely-used Microsoft Rewards feature is integrated into the Xbox App on mobile devices, allowing users to engage with daily quests and tasks. Recently, however, the rewards section has seemingly vanished, leading many users to speculate whether Microsoft has permanently removed this functionality from the app.
The Microsoft Rewards panel has been intermittently unavailable on the Xbox app, affecting both console and mobile versions. After several hours of downtime, it eventually returned. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first incident of such an error within the app, which has frequently left users unable to fulfill their tasks.
Some users reported that they did not earn any points for tasks completed while the app was experiencing issues.
This section appears to disappear from time to time, attributed to issues with the Xbox platform. Many users have become accustomed to this pattern; therefore, it’s advisable to refrain from completing any tasks when the Microsoft Rewards feature is absent from the Xbox App.
According to community feedback, once the rewards panel goes missing, it affects all platforms, including Xbox, PC, and mobile.
Despite ongoing debates regarding the future of Microsoft Rewards, it seems unlikely that Microsoft will discontinue this popular program, as it remains a favored choice among users.
Through this program, users can accumulate points that can be redeemed for gift cards or to renew their Game Pass subscriptions. While the points earned from daily tasks in 2024 may be reduced compared to 2023, the program continues to thrive.
Yeah, lots of people have been posting about it being down. I played Jewel earlier, but it still did not give me the points despite clearing two screens. Then, it was all just gone from the app.
