Windows 11 Internet Access Issues Caused by KB5043076 with Specific Routers

The KB5043076 update was released last week as part of the September 2024 Patch Tuesday updates. However, following its release, many users have reported various issues on Windows 11. In some cases, the update appears to be installed, yet certain applications within Windows 11 fail to recognize it.

For other users, after successfully installing KB5043076, Internet connectivity problems arise.

If you have encountered Internet issues after installing KB5043076, there is a workaround available.

To resolve the issue, disconnect your device from the network physically, remove the client profile from the Unifi OS, and restart the network controller.

Your device should be recognized again, allowing you to connect to the Internet.

Have you experienced this issue? Please share your feedback on whether this solution worked for you.

I installed KB5043076 and noticed a complete loss of network connectivity. My ethernet adapter checks out fine, and while I have connected to Wi-Fi (which I typically don’t use), I still have no functioning network connectivity.

I even tried to roll back the update via Windows Update → Update history → Uninstall updates, but I am still met with “No internet access” on both the ethernet and Wi-Fi interfaces.

Has anyone else experienced similar behavior?
