Windows 11 Beta Channel Update KB5044377 Introduces New Options for Enhanced Dynamic Lighting
Microsoft has unveiled the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.4435 (KB5044377) for its Beta Channel participants. This update brings a range of innovative features, including the ability to run applications as an administrator directly from the Start menu or taskbar with a simple click.
In line with the enhancements seen in the earlier Dev Channel build, Microsoft has also improved the Dynamic Lighting functionality in Windows 11. This feature now syncs the lighting effects of your keyboard, mouse, and other compatible accessories to match the visuals displayed on your screen. Additionally, this update addresses numerous bugs that affected the taskbar, input devices, and other areas.
In a dedicated section of the official blog, Microsoft details the updates and enhancements available to all users in the Beta Channel, not just those who have opted for immediate updates. Highlights include a new settings interface for the Copilot key on Windows 11 PCs equipped with the necessary hardware, numerous bug fixes, and important information regarding upcoming feature rollouts.
It’s important to highlight that the new functionalities introduced in KB5044377 may never reach the general public, and some features could undergo modifications, be removed, or replaced in future updates.
