Using UUP Dump to Download Windows 11 Build 27749 and Other ISO Files
LAST UPDATED 11/13/2024: You can obtain the ISO file for any Windows 11 preview build, including build 27749 from the Canary channel or other channels like Dev, Beta, and Release Preview. To do this, you’ll need a third-party application called “UUP Dump.”
While Microsoft does provide ISO files for Windows 11 previews to facilitate testing clean installations and in-place upgrades on virtual machines or spare computers, this isn’t always guaranteed.
UUP Dump is a utility that empowers you to generate a custom ISO file from any publicly released Windows 11 preview. This tool is essentially a collection of scripts and applications that retrieve the latest builds from Microsoft’s servers, producing an unofficial ISO ready for installation.
In this tutorial, I will guide you through the process of utilizing UUP Dump to download the ISO file for any public preview version of Windows 11.

Press the “R” key to allow the script to execute once, then hit Enter.
-
When prompted, press the 0 key to exit the screen.
After completing these steps, the Windows 11 ISO file will be generated in the folder where you extracted the UUP Dump tool.
