Troubleshooting Windows 11/10: How to Resolve ‘Stuck on Let’s Connect You to a Network’ Issue

Step 1: Use OOBE Command to Bypass Network Setup

The Out-Of-Box Experience (OOBE) command is your first line of action. Here’s how to leverage it:

• When on the “Let’s connect you to a network” screen, press Shift + F10.
• In the Command Prompt that appears, type OOBE\BYPASSNRO and hit Enter.
• Your computer will now restart. Follow the prompts for the Windows setup.
• Upon returning to the network screen, click on “ I don’t have internet ”.
• Then, select Continue with limited setup.
• Conclude by accepting the license agreement and setting up a local account.

Step 2: Terminate the Network Connection Flow

If the first step doesn’t resolve the issue, try ending the network connection process:

• Press Shift + F10 to access Command Prompt again.
• Type taskmgr and press Enter.
• In Task Manager, select More Details.
• Under the Processes tab, find Network Connection Flow.
• Right-click it and choose End Task.
• Close Task Manager, then type exit in Command Prompt to exit.
• Proceed with setup as directed onscreen.

Step 3: Create a Local User Account

You can create a local account to bypass the network screen effectively:

• Access Command Prompt with Shift + F10.
• Enter net.exe user YourPreferredUserName /add and press Enter.
• Next, insert net.exe localgroup administrators YourPreferredUserName /add.
• Type cd OOBE.
• Type msoobe.exe &&.
• Finally, use shutdown.exe -r.
• After the restart, follow instructions for creating a local account to complete the setup.
