Steps to Hide Frequently Accessed Folders in File Explorer Quick Access on Windows

- The Quick Access section in File Explorer displays your most accessed folders, but this feature can be turned off.
- Launch File Explorer, click on the three-dot menu at the top, and choose ‘Options’. Hit ‘Clear’ to remove the browsing history.

By default, Windows showcases the folders you often visit in the quick access area of File Explorer. While this can be convenient, it might also raise privacy concerns. If you prefer not to have others see your most visited folders in File Explorer, follow these steps to either erase the history or disable it entirely.
Steps to Conceal Frequently Accessed Folders in File Explorer
Step 1: Open File Explorer and click on the three-dot icon located at the top.
Step 2: Select Options from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: In the Privacy settings, click on Clear to erase the history from File Explorer.
Keep in mind that this action is temporary; the history will reappear as you access folders frequently again.
Step 4: To permanently hide frequently visited folders, deselect the Show frequently used folders checkbox and then click Apply.
By doing this, you will ensure that your frequently accessed folders do not appear in the Quick Access section of File Explorer.
