Spyro Reignited Trilogy Launches on Xbox Game Pass
Microsoft has made an exciting announcement regarding the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which is set to join the Xbox Game Pass lineup on November 12. This beloved remastered collection of classic Spyro games from the PlayStation era was hinted at earlier this week through a teaser video showcasing an iconic chest from the franchise.
This trilogy includes three remastered Spyro titles, enhanced with updated graphics and various quality-of-life improvements, and will be accessible across all Xbox Game Pass platforms. Subscribers will have the opportunity to enjoy it on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, and even via cloud gaming.
Initially launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018, the game has since made its way to PC and Nintendo Switch. It’s no surprise to see it debut on Xbox Game Pass, especially with the upcoming inclusion of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Activision’s stealthy approach to releasing the game on PC and other platforms.
Although the Spyro Reignited Trilogy faced challenges regarding its distribution, being initially announced for PS4 and Xbox One before expanding to PC and Switch, it experienced delisting from several online stores, including Steam, making its return in 2021.
Now, it is officially arriving on Xbox Game Pass, offering a fantastic chance for those who have yet to experience the adventures of Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon to do so with their subscription.
