Microsoft Teams Integrates Queues App for Android Mobile Devices
Microsoft Teams is set to launch the Queues app for Teams phone devices. This innovative app enables users to manage incoming calls, monitor call queues, and oversee call history directly from their mobile devices, bypassing the need for the desktop version.
According to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the tech giant plans to roll out the Queues app to Teams phone devices starting in December.
This enhancement will streamline communication, making it faster and more efficient, allowing managers to quickly understand conversations without unnecessary delays.
Currently, the Queues app is exclusively available on Android devices, and while Microsoft has not announced iOS support, it is anticipated that iPhone users may gain access in the coming months.
Additionally, Microsoft continues to enhance the platform for Android, with an immersive experience on Rooms that will include a new 3×3 Gallery View.
The Queues app on Teams phone devices significantly boosts call management capabilities, empowering agents to handle incoming calls, monitor call queues, and manage call history directly from their mobile devices, thus ensuring seamless communication.
