Microsoft released KB5025298 Windows 11 21H2 update with a long list of bug fixes

Alongside for Windows 11 22H2, Microsoft also released non-security update (C-release) for Windows 11 21H2 as well under KB5025298 (Build 22000.1880 Preview). The update addresses several bugs and issues, and also brings new features. These include new Firewall settings changes, fixes for LSASS issue, Edge IE mode, Windows Defender WDAC bug, and more.   • This update addresses an issue that affects Microsoft Edge IE mode. Pop-up windows open in the background instead of in the foreground.
  • This update affects Xbox Elite users who have the Xbox Adaptive Controller. This update applies your controller remapping preferences on the desktop.
  • This update changes the app icons for certain mobile providers.

This non-security update includes quality improvements. When you install this KB:

  • New! This update changes firewall settings. You can now configure application group rules.
