Microsoft Planner Enhances Premium Plan with Additional Tasks and Dependencies
Exciting developments await users of Microsoft Planner, particularly those who utilize tasks and dependencies in their projects. The technology leader based in Redmond has announced an enhancement to its premium plan, raising the limits to accommodate up to 3,000 tasks and 2,000 dependencies.
A recent update to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap indicates that premium plan subscribers will be able to create and manage this increased volume of tasks and dependencies.
Here’s the official note:
This enhancement will affect both Microsoft Project and Planner, set to roll out in February 2025. In Planner, tasks and dependencies are essential for optimizing workflows, distributing workloads, and accelerating project timelines.
A complex project can often generate hundreds of tasks within Planner, but for larger projects, this number can ascend into the thousands.
The upcoming modification will guarantee that Planner remains versatile for various project infrastructures.
In related news, Microsoft has also introduced a new Board view in My Tasks for Planner, designed to assist users in organizing their tasks more efficiently.
Users can now create and manage a maximum of 3,000 tasks and 2,000 dependencies with a Microsoft Planner premium plan.
