Microsoft Copilot to Receive Read Aloud Support for Chat Responses Enhancement

Microsoft is set to improve the Copilot feature within the 365 Suite by introducing a read-aloud functionality. This enhancement will allow the AI to vocalize its responses, providing users with an audio version of the information instead of requiring them to read it.

This addition will be accessible in the chat pane, enabling users to listen to replies, which could be particularly beneficial for individuals with visual impairments. As noted in a recent update, this feature is expected to become available later this month.

Additionally, Copilot is also set for enhancements that will empower users to create banners for a variety of Word documents through the Designer tool. This improvement will enable quick image creation for documents in a matter of seconds and is also scheduled for release this month.

In further developments, the tech giant based in Redmond recently unveiled plans to add an Interpreter Agent feature to the AI model. This innovative capability will facilitate conversations in foreign languages, even for users who are not proficient in those languages.
