Microsoft Bing Chat is currently testing 200 daily turns and 20 in-session turns.
Throughout the past few weeks, Microsoft has gradually increased the chat turn restrictions in Bing Talk. Until this weekend, chatbot users could do up to 150 chat turns per day and just 15 in-session turns.
Nevertheless, Microsoft made an unannounced change to the Bing Chat turn restrictions over the weekend. Some Twitter users noticed that their in-session turn limitations have been extended from 15 to 20. Microsoft Vice President for Bing’s Growth and Distribution team, Michael Schechter, verified this on Twitter (via MSPoweruser), saying, “we’re testing 20/200 this weekend to see how things go.”

Of course, this means that the daily turn limit on Bing Talk has been raised from 150 to 200. Schechter’s remark implies that this is only a temporary measure, and that Microsoft may revert to the original 150/15 turn limits. Yet, unless something quite severe occurs, that appears improbable. The key question is when Bing Chat will have infinite turn chat sessions. That is yet to be determined.
