KB5046613 Update for Windows 10 Resolves App Launch Issues Requiring Admin Rights
Microsoft has unveiled the latest security enhancements for both Windows 10 and Windows Server 20H2. These updates are accessible for the currently supported Windows 10 iterations, specifically 20H2, 21H2, and 22H2. These updates are identified by the following KB numbers: KB5046613, KB5046615, KB5046612, and KB5046665.
The Patch Tuesday update for November 2024 emphasizes security improvements and addresses specific bugs, including a notable problem that prevented applications such as Quick Assist, Microsoft Teams, and Windows Narrator from functioning correctly unless they were run with administrative privileges.
According to Microsoft, there are no reported issues associated with these updates.
