How to Resolve Missing Old Call History on iPhone

Previously, accessing Call History on your iPhone was quite challenging until the launch of iOS 18. While all recent calls are displayed in the Recent section, these logs will continuously roll off as you make additional calls on your device. To assist you in tracking your call history on the iPhone, we’ve created this helpful guide.

IMPORTANT: The Recent tab provides the call history for your iPhone. For those using older iPhone versions (iOS 16/17 or earlier), the displayed call list is limited to the last 100 calls due to iOS restrictions. To overcome this limitation, consider updating to the latest version of iOS.

Solution 1 – Switch to the ‘All’ Tab

You may currently be viewing the ‘Missed’ calls section in your Phone app.

Step 1: Launch the Phone app.

Step 2: Navigate to the “All” tab within the Phone app.

This is where you can find a complete list of your phone calls.

Solution 2 – Reboot Your Device

If the issue stems from a minor bug or glitch, a device restart might resolve it. Simply reboot your iPhone and then open the Phone app to check if you can access your call history.

Solution 3 – Update Your Region Settings

If you’re in a different location than your default region, you should update your settings accordingly.

Step 1: Go to the “General” section in the iPhone Settings menu.

Your iPhone will automatically restart, and your region settings will be updated. After this change, you should see all past call logs in the Phone app.

Solution 4 – Contact Your Carrier

If you’re still having trouble, reach out to your mobile carrier for assistance in accessing your call list.

Step 1: Conduct a Google search for your carrier’s call history link. For example, if you are an AT&T user, search for “att call history.”

Step 2: Locate the official link to download your call history and click on it.

The following steps are straightforward; simply log in using your account details.

You will be able to view your call history after logging in, and these logs will be sent to you through a secure email.
