Microsoft Copilot is an integral component of various Microsoft services; however, numerous users have reported experiencing issues with its functionality. This can be frustrating, especially for regular users, but fortunately, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take.

What’s causing my Windows Copilot to malfunction?

In many cases, a VPN can be the primary culprit behind issues with Copilot. Additionally, a corrupted profile in Edge or multiple active processes may also disrupt service performance.

How can I resolve issues with Microsoft Copilot?

1. Turn Off the VPN

  1. Check your system tray for a VPN icon.
  2. If found, right-click it and select either Quit or Disable.

  3. After disabling the VPN, see if the issue persists.

If your VPN is set up in Settings, disable it by following these steps:

  1. Access Settings and navigate to Network and Internet.

  4. Click the Delete option to remove your profile.
