How to Fix iPhone App Store Wallet Balance Not Updating

Is your App Store wallet balance not updating on your iPhone? It’s important to note that the App Store wallet balance may take some time to reflect recent transactions. If you’ve recently added funds or received a refund, it may not appear immediately in your main balance. If your wallet balance is taking an unusually long time to update, follow these solutions.

Reasons for App Store Wallet Balance Not Updating

Your Apple ID balance or App Store wallet balance indicates the funds available. When you transfer money from your bank account to your wallet, the transaction goes through authorized channels. Therefore, the process of deducting funds from your account and crediting them to your Apple ID wallet takes some time. Typically, you should wait for about an hour or two before checking your balance update.

If you are expecting a refund for a previous app or item purchase in the App Store, it can take approximately 24 to 48 hours for the refund to appear in your account balance.

Solution 1: Force Close the App Store

A temporary glitch may be the cause of the issue in the App Store. Force closing and reopening the App Store can help check if the balance updates correctly.

Step 1: Swipe up from the bottom to access the list of apps.

Step 2: Locate the App Store and close it immediately.

After that, verify whether your wallet balance has updated.

Solution 2: Sign Out and Sign Back Into Your Apple ID

Another effective method is to sign out of your Apple ID and then sign back in.

Step 1: Sign Out of Your Apple ID

Step 1: Open the Settings on your iPhone.

Step 2: Find your Apple ID details and tap on it.

Step 6: You’ll receive a prompt regarding the data stored on your iPhone.

Step 7: Select your preferred option or tap “Sign out” to log out.

Step 2: Sign In Using Your Apple ID

Next, sign in to your iPhone with the same Apple ID.

Step 1: Return to the Settings home page.

Step 2: Tap “Sign in to your iPhone” at the top.

Step 3: Fill in the required fields with your Apple ID email address and the password.

Step 4: Apple will send a verification code to your other Apple devices to authenticate your login.

Now, check your Apple ID wallet balance once again; it should show the correct amount.

Solution 3: Contact Apple Support

If your balance still does not reflect correctly after waiting for an hour or two, it’s advisable to contact Apple Support for assistance.

Additionally, you can reach out to your local Apple Service Center for further support.
