How to Fix Incorrect Calendar Date on iPhone Home Screen

Is your iPhone Calendar displaying incorrect dates? Encountering the wrong date in your Calendar settings can lead to missed meetings, important events, and much more. Therefore, resolving the Calendar issue should be a top priority. The following solutions can help you rectify the date problem.

Why is the Calendar displaying the wrong date?

Seeing incorrect date and time settings in the Calendar app is not typical. This issue often arises if you have multiple iCloud or Gmail accounts. However, displaying the wrong date in the Calendar app is a separate matter. The most effective solution we’ve discovered is to switch the date and time settings from manual to automatic mode.

Fix 1 – Adjust the date and time

We’ll first set the date and time incorrectly on the iPhone and then revert them to the correct settings.

FIRST STEP

Step 1 – Tap the ⚙ button to access the Settings page.

Step 2 – Navigate to the “General” settings.

general tap min 1

Step 3 – From the list of settings, locate and open the “Date & Time” settings.

Step 4 – First, disable the “Set Automatically” option.

This will give you manual control over your iPhone’s date and time settings.

Step 5 – The current date and time settings will appear on the screen.

Step 6 – Tap on the date settings and set the date to a week or month back, based on your preference.

Once you’ve completed the first stage, wait a few seconds up to a minute.

SECOND STEP

Now, you will need to restore the date and time settings on your iPhone.

Step 1 – Return to Settings and revisit the “General” tab.

Step 2 – Open the “Date & Time” settings once again.

Check your Calendar to see if it now displays the correct date.

The time zone settings may be restricted due to device limitations.

If you are unable to adjust the date and time settings, you may need to disable the Screen Time Passcode.

1. Navigate to the home page in the Settings app.

2. Next, access the “Screen Time” settings.
