Why is my Gmail Calendar not syncing on my iPhone?

Your iPhone can manage various types of calendars, all accessible directly from the device. However, if sync issues arise, you may notice that your events and meetings are not displaying as expected. This can often be due to glitches in the Gmail settings on your iPhone, preventing calendar events from appearing correctly.

Solution 1 – Activate Gmail Calendars

To begin, ensure that your Gmail calendars are enabled in your iPhone Settings.

Step 1 – Start by opening the Settings app.

Step 2 – Next, navigate to the β€œApps” section.

Step 3 – After that, locate and select the β€œCalendar” option.

Step 4 – In the Calendar settings, tap on the β€œCalendar Accounts” interface.

Solution 2 – Set Fetch New Data to Automatic

Your Gmail calendar needs to be refreshed automatically to receive the latest event details directly from Gmail.

Step 1 – Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 2 – Proceed to the β€œApps” section.

After adjusting the Fetch settings, exit the Settings app. Your Gmail calendar events will now refresh automatically.

Solution 3 – Remove and Re-add Your Google Account

If the issue persists, try deleting your Google account from your iPhone and then re-adding it.

Step 1 – Access the Settings menu and navigate as follows:

Step 2 – Click on β€œCalendar Accounts.”
