Received the “Your Account has been disabled” notification in the App Store or iTunes homepage? When this alert appears on the App Store front page, you will be locked out of access. This issue may relate to account credentials. Follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

Why can’t you access the App Store?

The exact reason for the appearance of this message may vary among affected users. However, it’s clear that the problem is associated with Apple ID credentials. Accessing iTunes or the App Store requires an Apple ID. An incorrect password for your account might be causing this issue. Thus, consider changing your account password and trying again.

Fix 1 – Change the Account Password

The most effective solution is to change your Apple ID account password.

Step 1 – Begin by navigating to the Settings app.

Step 2 – Then, go to the Apple ID information section by tapping your Apple ID.

Step 3 – On that page, locate the “Sign-in & Security” settings.

Step 4 – Tap the “Change Password” option to begin the password change process.

Step 5 – You will need to verify your identity using Face ID before changing your password.

Step 6 – Enter your new password on the subsequent page.

Step 7 – Re-enter the same password in the next field. Save the changes.

Step 8 – Tap “Change” to finalize the password change.

After setting your new password, return to the App Store or iTunes app.

Use the new password to sign in and check if you can log in successfully.
