Explore the New Microsoft Store Homepage and Category Section for Easier Game and App Browsing
Microsoft has rolled out a significant update to the Canary Insider Channel, introducing a new build along with major enhancements to the Microsoft Store.
According to a blog post from Microsoft, these improvements include new app categories featured on the home page and are part of the Microsoft Store app version 22409 and higher, which is now being distributed to Windows Insiders in both the Canary and Dev Channels.
The revamped homepage of the Microsoft Store now includes app categories positioned below the top featured applications and games. By clicking on any of these categories, users will be directed to a page where they can explore a wide range of apps within that category. This streamlined layout of categories can also be found in other sections like apps and games.
Additionally, the Microsoft Store app is receiving a refreshed look for the pages dedicated to individual applications and games. The updated design showcases a more prominent header and features rounded corners for a modern appearance.
The Microsoft Store app is designed to update itself automatically, so users can expect to see these enhancements within a few days. However, for those eager to experience the new features sooner, there’s an option to manually trigger the update.
