By default, your watch history and app activity are available through the app’s settings, meaning that anyone using your Apple TV can view them. This also impacts the recommendations you see on your ‘Home’ page.

Steps to Disable Viewing History on the Apple TV App
Start by opening the Apple TV app. Click on the three-dot icon located in the upper left corner and select Settings.
Next, select Playback.
Then, toggle off Use viewing history.
Once completed, your Home screen recommendations will no longer be affected by your watched content.
How to Clear Play History on the Apple TV App
Follow these steps to remove the information about what you’ve watched on the Apple TV app.
Click on the three-dot icon in the top left corner and navigate to Settings.
Then go to Advanced.
Next to ‘Clear what you’ve watched from your devices’, click on Clear Play History.
Note: This action will also remove Apple TV shows and movies from your ‘Up Next’ queue.
Regardless of whether you share your account, it’s advisable to regularly clear your play history and disable viewing history for your privacy.
