KB5025228 – Improvements and New Features

With this patch update, Microsoft brings the following changes to Windows 10 version 1607 –

  • Agrees to update the Daylight Saving Time per the Arab Republic of Egypt Government’s order for 2023.
  • Resolves a known issue that affects Microsoft Edge IE mode and pages that use predictive prerendering. This happens because Edge IE doesn’t support predictive prerendering.
  • Addresses compatibility issues affecting some printers which use Windows Graphical Device Interface (GDI) printer drivers. This occurs because the required drivers on such printers don’t adhere to GDI specifications.
