Follow any one of the methods below to convert a Word document to PowerPoint:

1] Export a Word document to PowerPoint

Open a Word document.

Click the File tab.

On the backstage view, click the Options button.

A Word Options dialog box will open.

On the left, click Quick Access Toolbar.

Choose All Command from the Choose Command From list.

Scroll down to Send to Microsoft PowerPoint and select it.

Click the Add button.

The command will appear on the right column, then click OK.

The Command button will appear on the Quick Access Toolbar.

Click the Send to Microsoft PowerPoint button on the Quick Access Toolbar.

This will open PowerPoint, where you can see a slide with the same content as Word.

Organize the content on the slide.

2] Insert a Word document as an object

Click the Insert tab, then click the Object button in the Text group.

An Insert Object dialog box will open.

Select Create from file.

Click Browse.

Choose the file that you want, then click Open.

The Word Content is displayed on the PowerPoint slide.

3] Use a Word document as an Outline.

Open a Word document.

Use Styles to format the document.

Highlight the title of the paragraph.

Click the Home tab and click Heading 1 in the Styles gallery.

Highlight the Paragraph and select Heading 2 from the Styles gallery.

Then save the document.

Close the document.

Open PowerPoint.

On the Home tab, click the New Slide button drop-down arrow and select Slides from Outline.

An Insert Outline dialog box will open.

Search for the document you have saved previously.

Then click Insert.

The Word Content is displayed on the PowerPoint slide.
