Microsoft Unveils New Copilot User Interface for Word, Enhancing Feature Accessibility

Following the rollout of a new user interface for Copilot that has received mixed feedback from users, Microsoft appears to be planning enhancements to the AI model’s interface across its various platforms, particularly within Microsoft Word and the broader Office suite.

As noted by Michael Reinders, a revamped UI for Copilot has been detected within Word. When initiating a new document, users will encounter a prominent Copilot interface that delivers AI-driven functionalities right away, eliminating the need to navigate through multiple ribbon tabs or submenus.

This updated UI features capabilities to compose articles, craft emails, summarize documents, and articulate your writing objectives.

While these functionalities are already present in Copilot, the redesigned interface promises easier access for users.

Microsoft has yet to officially confirm this new UI, suggesting that it may currently be undergoing testing with a limited group before a broader launch.
