Fantastical App Now Available for Windows Users!

Key Information

  • Fantastical, the renowned calendar app originally designed for Apple users, is now fully accessible on Windows thanks to its 4.0 update.
  • While Fantastical offers a free version, many of its advanced productivity features necessitate a subscription, with a 14-day free trial available for new users.
  • You can download Fantastical through the Microsoft Store.

Fantastical, a top-tier calendar application favored by Mac and other Apple device users, has officially launched on Windows as a native application.

Lauded for its sleek interface and user-friendly design, Fantastical simplifies scheduling and organization for users who prefer efficient planning. Since its debut in 2011, it has provided features such as support for multiple time zones, comprehensive schedule overviews, the capability to manage several accounts, and much more, making it a staple among Apple lovers.

The latest update, 4.0, marks the introduction of Fantastical to Windows, although the sole new ā€˜featureā€™ pertains to this platform availability. This move signifies a significant shift for Flexibits, as it ventures out of the exclusive Apple ecosystem, making the app accessible to Windows users natively. To get started, download Fantastical from the Microsoft Store.

Itā€™s important to note that the app is not yet compatible with PCs that utilize Arm architecture, which excludes certain advanced AI models like Copilot+ devices. Owners of these PCs would need to use emulation or wait for a version tailored to Arm architecture, which is anticipated.

Fantastical can be accessed for free, but most of its premium featuresā€”such as cross-device support, conference call scheduling, intriguing calendar options, and detailed weather updatesā€”are unlocked through a paid subscription. This subscription costs $7 monthly or $57 yearly, which some may find on the pricier side. Fortunately, there is a free trial available for users to explore the appā€™s functionalities.

As it stands, Fantastical is now widely available across platforms including iOS, Mac, iPadOS, Apple Watch, Vision Pro, and Windows. There has been no announcement regarding the potential for an Android version in the future.
