October Xbox Microsoft Rewards Quests Show Completed Status Due to a Bug
Recently, Microsoft Rewards has been experiencing unusual issues across various browsers, impacting users of the Xbox App as well. After flagging suspicious search activity, the platform has limited user access to earning points and has been undergoing unexpected resets on the Xbox App.
For example, numerous users have reported that Game Pass quests reset a week earlier than normal. This unfortunate reset was followed by a strange occurrence where many other quests, particularly the monthly ones, registered as completed shortly thereafter.
The weekly Microsoft Rewards quests have faced similar issues within the Xbox App.
A significant number of users have been impacted by these technical glitches. Consequently, many experienced lost achievements, while others completed daily targets only to see their progress reset.
As a reminder, Microsoft Rewards typically resets the quests on Xbox on the 8th of each month.
An Xbox representative has confirmed that these errors were due to a bug that caused the resets to occur prematurely, but the issue has since been resolved.
If you have been affected by these glitches, you should now be able to complete your quests without further issues.
In related news, Xbox recently announced that the Xbox Game Pass app will no longer be available for download starting this November.

We’ve fixed the early start date for this month’s quests. September’s quests will continue until the 7th (as advertised), with a reset occurring on the 8th. Any progress made yesterday or early today toward October’s monthlies will count toward your progress for October.
Yesterday, GP quests reset a week prematurely. Now, they’ve changed again—monthly quests show as complete, and my weekly quests are inaccurate too. Anyone else experiencing this?
